Navigon MobileNavigator North America GPS app giveaway

Within my lifetime, I’ve driven in two countries: The United States and Canada. Similarly, within my lifetime, I’ve been lost in two countries: The United States and Canada. I was without the benefit of Navigon’s MobileNavigator North America GPS app for the iPhone, but that need not be the case with you. Navigon has kindly offered us two free downloads of the North America version of their quite popular and well-reviewed MobileNavigator app, and suggested we pass them to along to you. So, we shall.

Half off Navigon Mobile Navigator GPS app

One year ago today Navigon’s Mobile Navigator debuted on the App Store. It’s arguably the best turn by turn guidance app available and the one that I consistently recommend. And it’s even easier to recommend it when they do something awesome like slash their prices by half across the board. That’s right, you can get any of Navigon’s Mobile Navigator apps or add-ins half off until August 15th.

How I survived a week with only my iPhone (Essential Apps)

While Walt Disney World certainly is the place where dreams come true, it’s not the most tech friendly place; WiFi access runs $10 a day, which after three days would pay for your 3G access from AT&T for a month with a 3G iPad. Or, you could rough it with just your iPhone. I chose the latter, and these 3G friendly apps helped me do so without shaking in the corner as a result of my Internet addiction. I call them “My Essential Apps.”

Macworld 2010: Navigon updates MobileNavigator

Navigon’s at it again. No surprise, really. This time, they’ve been working on Panorama View 3D and MyRoutes. Oh yeah, they also added Twitter and Facebook connectivity. I’m beginning to think the rest of the GPS apps on the App Store are just playing catch up with Navigon.

Navigon announces Traffic Live for MobileNavigator North America

The best GPS app on iPhone just got a little bit better. Navigon’s MobileNavigator is already an amazing GPS routing app with its voice prompted directions, smoothly animated maps and excellent everything-I-can-think-of, but Today they’ve added Traffic Live for North America.

Appletell reviews Navigon’s MobileNavigator North America for iPhone

Ever since Apple added GPS as a feature of the iPhone 3G, consumers have (wrongfully) assumed that this meant turn by turn navigation. Finally, Apple is now allowing turn-by-turn GPS navigation apps on the app store with iPhone OS 3.0 and above. And it didn’t take long to find a real winner in this category. Navigon’s MobileNavigator is a superb choice for turn by turn navigation, even without waiting to see what others will produce in the future.
