Monster CleanTouch Pen review

Having never purchased or looked into many screen cleaning products for my electronics, using the CleanTouch Pen by Monster was a new concept to me. Its features were quite attractive, especially the fingerprint resistance, as I always manage to cover my iPad’s screen with fingerprints during use. The CleanTouch Pen did an amazing job at cleaning my iPad’s screen and restoring it to its clear, out-of-the-box state after a single use.

Monster sponsors Team Grizz for National Kidney Foundation Walkathons in 2011

This year, Monster will be sponsoring Grizz from 30 Rock for the National Kidney Foundation Walk 2011 Season. The walks will take place in several cities across the country from May 15 to October 16. Monster’s hoping to get over 6,000 participats to wear the Monster logo on the back of their t-shirts as they show their support for the National Kidney Foundation by walking.

TRON Light Disc Audio Dock by Monster review

Monster has been known to make some bold decisions with their speaker and headphone lines, but the TRON Light Disc Audio Dock is one I really have to question. I mean, I get the coolness factor. Although I was largely disappointed by TRON: Legacy, I remain a fan of the franchise. I’m also a big fan of great sounding audio. Monster combines the two with stunning results here, but will many besides me really care?

Beats by Dr. Dre from Monster Beats Pro review

How do you improve an amazing set of headphones like the Beats by Dr. Dre from Monster Beats Studios? It’s a tough job, but Monster has outdone themselves in all the ways I hoped they would with a new model. The Beats by Dr. Dre from Monster Beats Pros are reference headphones that drop the noise cancellation of the Beats Studios and replace it with top notch noise isolation. They’re built like a pair of $450 headphones should be, to last.

Beats by Dr. Dre from Monster iBeats review

The Beats by Dr. Dre from Monster iBeats are Monster’s shot at cheaper, yet still high quality in ear headphones. They’re meant to be priced at a level that is more acceptable to a wider audience while maintaining that level of quality that you’ve come to expect from Monster. Are they worth $120? Are they as good as other similar choices? Will you even be able to tell the difference?

Monster announces Major Youth Empowerment Initiative for 2011 at CES

At CES this year, Monster announced a major Youth Empowerment Initiative for 2011. It’s an initiative that includes partnerships with Nick Cannon and Co. at Ncredible Entertainment and Dean Kamen in support of the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) robotics program. It’s all to help encourage youth to become interested in science, technology, engineering and math, and help them become the leaders in technology.

CES 2011: Monster Press Conference Highlights

Today, Monster had their Press Conference to announce new partnerships and products.  here were the predictable headphone and cable announcements, and the unexpected car care products. Seriously. Let me tell you about the Apple related announcements. Monster admittedly doesn’t think you need another iPhone speaker dock, but they just couldn’t resist themselves when the opportunity to expand their Tron line presented itself. The Tron iPod Sound Dock is inspired by the Identity Disk. There are almost 200 LED embedded around the disk that are controlled by Monster’s first iOS app.

Appletell reviews CleanTouch from Monster

Attention smudge haters, germopobes, and parents who use multitouch iDevices as a distraction for little kids; it is time to clean up your act. Sure, there are wipes, sprays, and cloths that will remove fingerprints from your iPad or iPhone, but those can leave behind creepy-crawly germs that accumulate on your screen, just waiting to make you sick. Monster’s latest screen cleaning spray, the CleanTouch, brings the power of antibacterial cleaning and fingerprint resistance in a slim, convenient package.

Appletell reviews the Diddybeats in-ear headphones

The Diddybeats in-ear headphones created by Dr. Dre, Diddy and Monster aim to provide the highest quality sound possible. According to the description on their site, these headphones were “engineered to reproduce all the emotion stirring, crowd moving power music lovers crave.” In terms of doing so, I’d say these headphones are among the best I’ve ever heard. However, as with many products, that advantage also has a few drawbacks.
