Outputting the iPhone display to a TV screen is in the works

Ars Technica has recently found some undocumented features of the SDK in the new iPhone 2.2 software. Perhaps the most interesting of these features is the MPTVOutWindow class. This class allows developers to output the iPhone’s screen to a larger screen, such as a TV, thereby taking advantage of its speakers and size. The user still uses the iPhone and its accelerometer to maneuver in a game such as Moto Chaser, which is shown in the demo.
