For those of you that are new to the world of sudoku, let me introduce you to Mr. Sudoku, a friendly bee that resides on the iPad offering many sudoku puzzles ranging from simple to hard difficulties. Mr. Sudoku’s interface on the iPad is clean, and its number input options are intuitive, which leaves very little between you and the puzzle—just as it should be.

One announcement that came in too late for that but still deserves mention is from Ambrosia Software, creator of some of the finer games and productivity tools for the Mac. They’ve announced that Aki Mahjong, Mondo Solitaire, Mondo Top 5 Solitaire, and Mr. Sudoku Apps for iPad are now available on the App Store. All these apps have been redesigned specifically for iPad.
