iTunes Match reaches out to more international countries
Apple has formally launched the iTunes Match service in the U.K., Germany, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Ireland, and other regions. Several users noticed that within the iTunes program there was a new option that allowed them to subscribe to iTunes Match. The service wasn’t expected to arrive until at least the start of 2012, but it seems Apple managed to get the service up and running quicker than was anticipated for international users.
Rdio now offering free, on-demand music streaming
Rdio—a competitor to similar services such as Spotify—has stepped up its game with its announcement that it will now be offering free, on-demand and ad-free music streaming. However, the free streaming will only be available via the web and desktop versions of Rdio; those hoping the feature would be supported by Rdio’s iOS and other mobile platform apps will be disappointed to know that it isn’t. A paid subscription will be required to use Rdio on those platforms.

I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the one who caused the 2nd gen Apple TV to skyrocket in sales, even if I just got my unit today.
