The Shuttle. Need I say more? NASA released an amazing app full of videos and images from four shuttle missions. Google released a superb app for browsing magazine-like content. Oh, and then there’s the limited time freebies. You’re going to want to skip all the way to the end for Zombie Gunship and Mirror’s Edge.

NASA knows it’s hard to let go of their space shuttle program, so to help, they’ve released an awesome app to access some of their science content on your iPad. But wait, there’s more. Shark Week is coming up, this weekend could be filled with punches and bowling with Tekken Bowl, you can use RunPee to know when to walk out of any movie, and much more.
International Space Station Windows computers infected with virus.
The International Space Station has been infiltrated. That’s right, a virus has made it’s way onto the computers of the International Space Station. The computers, running Windows XP, were non-mission-critical, containing things like e-mail and “nutritional experiments.”
The computers were infected by the W32.Gammima.AG worm, which harvests credentials for online games. Somewhat disconcertingly, the virus has spread since its entry into space, meaning that it is on some sort of onboard drive or intranet.

iPod goes to space
The iPod has gone to space! TUAW reader Walker saw an iPod in the Endeavour’s cabin window, and submitted the photos.
