It’s almost time for the iTunes Festival in London again. This July will see 31 straight days of music, and you can stream it all to your iOS device live with Apple’s free app. I also found two notebook apps, a golf app that’s aimed to make you stop sucking at putting, some free games and a super useful task manager to keep your on task. The only thing left to do is click on through.
iPhone/ iPod Touch-compatible Hulu coming soon?
MacRumors.com is reporting that Hulu, the joint venture between NBC and FOX, is planning an iPhone and iPod Touch compatible version of the site to be released as early as Thursday. Hulu out of Beta
Video site Hulu has moved out of private beta, effective Thursday. Hulu is a joint venture between NBC and FOX that was created after NBC pulled out of iTunes due to pricing disputes. NBC repairing relations with Apple?
It appears that NBC CEO Jeff Zucker wants to patch things up with Apple in a move to abolish an era of television that “won’t return.”
The writers strike has already caused massive job loss and an influx of reality shows, but in an interview with the Financial Times, Zucker said he wants to go further “by cutting back enduring features of the television business, including the pilot season, in which networks develop programmes, and the splashy “upfront” presentations in which they tout them to advertisers.”
NBC Universal profits despite iTunes and WGA strike

NBC losing cash after leaving iTunes
Since NBC left iTunes due to price disagreements, NBC has been loosing money, and a lot of it. Yahoo News reports that NBC has refunded about $500,000 per advertiser on the network due to not making the guaranteed rating levels.
