new features
whited00r 5.1 now available for legacy iDevices
whited00r—which provides users of discontinued iDevices such as the iPhone 2G/3G and iPod touch 1G/2G features found within versions of iOS that these iDevices are unable to support—has been updated to version 5.1. The update mainly adds features from within iOS 5 to these iDevices, bringing them up to date with newer iDevice models…with a few exceptions, of course.
Four overlooked gems in iPhone 3.0
Sure there are the big, huge features in iPhone 3.0—like Copy and Paste—but what about the little stuff that was too trivial for Scott Forstall to do any more than mention? This is usually the stuff that really makes a release. Here are my favorite little things about iPhone 3.0 so far. I’m sure there will be many additions as more information leaks out.
How Snow Leopard could be the biggest OS X upgrade yet
Snow Leopard will not have any new features. Though this isn’t technically true, it’s what Apple says. So why would I want to buy it? Because, assuming Apple delivers on their promises, it will be the best Mac OS X experience I’ve ever had. Now, keep in mind none of these features are definite, but this wishlist should give you an idea of the type of changes that will make Snow Leopard a fantastic desktop companion. Whether people will buy Snow Leopard or not due to its “lack of features” is a different article, but for those who do buy Snow Leopard, here is why they will be running the biggest and best upgrade to OS X yet.
iPhone Last.fm 2.0 app leaked
The Last.fm development team has provided a new sneak peek at the Last.fm iPhone app 2.0. It offers the ability to listen to music based on tags you enter, check out artist bios and concerts in your areas, and even add concert dates to your calendar.
All in all, it offers great new features and integrates with the other Apple apps on the iPhone, and a whole lot more. Looks like a worthwhile update.

More Snow Leopard Screenshots Appear
German Apple site Apfeltalk has released new screenshots of Mac OS X 10.6 “Snow Leopard” onto the internet. There’s not really much to see, but the screenshots offer “photo evidence” of Safari 4′s web-application feature, Address Book Exchange Support, and more.
While the screenshots don’t really show much, as most improvements are under the hood, the shots seem to show that Apple is really on top of Snow Leopard’s surface features, however limited they may be. Given that they have a whole year to continue development, I can’t wait to see the performance increases…or perhaps some yet-unannounced features?

Steve Jobs leaks new Time Machine features
If you have super-eagle eyes, and were watching the new HD stream of the Macworld 2008 keynote, you might have noticed that Steve Jobs showed a screenshot of Time Machine with a new button in the lower left-hand corner entitled, “Only Show Changes”. Apparently, this new button will allow you to see only the changes more »
