Seems that Apple’s iPhone 4 has really proven itself to be quite useful for more than just the every day consumer. The New York Times uses iPhone 4 for quickly and easily uploading video on the go, and Ann Derry, Editorial Director for Video and Television at NYT, considers it to be a “game changer” in terms of video news gathering. Yes, that means many of us already have everything we need to take decent video on the go, just like a New York Times reporter.
NYTimes iPad app updated, free until end of the year
The NYTimes for iPad app has just been given an update, and it’s now running in full version. By full version, we mean the app now has more content coming in from the New York Times website. This includes news of course, plus videos and other multimedia content that the online news site is dishing out daily. The app will be available as a free download through the end of the year.
