According to Wikipedia, Scrabble sets are found in roughly 1/3 of American homes. I don’t doubt that, as I often played it growing up. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to get people together to play a board game, and that’s where Facebook comes in. Being able to play with friends, family, and strangers all over the world means it’s easier than ever to play a game of Scrabble.

Trine 2 hits Mac/PC December 7th, consoles to follow

Frozenbyte’s Trine was one of more pleasant gaming surprises I’ve had in quite some time. Since reviewing it, I’ve been closely following the production of its sequel, and was thrilled today to get the announcement that Trine 2 will be hitting Steam and Mac/PC retail this Wednesday, December 7th. The console versions will hit PlayStationNetwork on December 20, and Xbox LIVE Marketplace on December 21. A European release date for the PS3 system version of Trine 2 is still awaiting confirmation.

You’ve got wishes? Well, Steam has the magic wand. Or, maybe Steam is the magic wand, and Valve is waving it. Regardless, the Daily Wishlist Giveaway has begun. Each day, the online gaming platform will award 10 people the top 10 games on their wishlist. The Giveaway is now underway and will continue into the holiday season.

Version 4.4.3 contains some bugs fixes, including a sound problem through the optical port when your television set is turned off, and also adds support for Netflix in Mexico. Users should also note Apple TV now supports iTunes Match; this service needs to be activated from your desktop computer running iTunes 10.5.1.
