This week, Appletell is giving away five copies of each of two photo related apps: Photo Spot by Nexx Studio, and Droste Effect by Gabe Jacobs Productions. Photo Spot takes the classic touch screen “spot the difference” game to your iPhone and iPod touch. Droste Effect gives you nine animations in which an image contains a smaller version of itself, placed where a similar picture would realistically be expected to appear.

Remember those great games on the back cover of Highlights Magazine? You know, the one you read in the dentist’s office as a kid. Photo Spot is an application that, at least at face value, looks remarkably similar; two pictures, and you have to find as many differences between the two as possible. Only while Highlights was fun and relaxing, Photospot is fast-paced and overly complicated.
