When you had to figure out how much money you needed before the weekend started—if you ran out before Monday morning at 8 a.m., you had to write a check>. It was a time of insanity and darkness, great beasts roamed the earth, and we watched shadows on the wall of caves and thought those were reality. Then, the ATM was invented.
