Tomorrow is a big day, and there are many ways to watch the Presidential Inauguration. You can watch it on TV, on Hulu, Joost, the Presidential Inaugural Committee’s web site, Ustream, and a variety of other places. However, what if you’re not near a television/computer? Easy; you’ll be able to hear the inauguration tomorrow using Talk Radio, an application designed for the iPhone that runs for $2.

Appletell reviews Scoops game for iPhone, iPod touch

If you had a choice between ice cream and vegetables, most people would pick the ice cream for all of its sugary goodness. Well, that is exactly what you are required to do in Scoops. You start off with an empty waffle cone. Ice cream and vegetables start falling from the sky, and you need to catch the ice cream in the cone by tilting your device left and right to move the cone accordingly. Ice cream good, vegetables bad. You start with three stars, and if you are unlucky enough to catch a vegetable, it takes a star away. When you are down to zero, the game is over.

Appletell reviews iResolve for iPhone, iPod touch

There is not a whole lot to this application. It has a nice look, simple graphics and does exactly what it advertises. The simple interface lacks pizzaz or flash, but the applications is very easy to use. The biggest problem I had is that the alarm reminders have not alarmed or reminded me of anything, ever. I really think this functionality should work in order for me to give this application a decent rating as I would think that would be a very widely used option.

o2 blames Apple for lack of UK iPhone stock

It seems o2 are blaming Apple for a shortage of UK iPhone 3G stock. In an e-mail response to an inquiring customer, Steve Shurrock, sales director of o2 had the following to say,

“We have been working continuously with them [Apple] to get as much stock for the UK as possible. Unfortunately, they have only been able to supply a small proportion of the number of phones we asked for, because they are launching simultaneously in 22 countries.”

Shurrock goes onto say that he is confident that the volume of iPhones will increase over time and become sufficient for customer demand.

More after the break.
