iPad Appidemic: Puzzle Agent HD
Puzzle Agent HD is a collection of puzzles tied together by a plot that would do David Lynch (or at least the Coen Brothers) proud. You control Nelson Tethers, an agent sent to Scoggins, Minnesota to determine what happened at the Scoggins Eraser factory. I would like to believe the U.S. government really does have a Department of Puzzle Research, because it’s not hard to believe the residents of small town Minnesota could use its services.
Puzzle Agent investigates the Mac and PC
Telltale Games is inviting you to join the US Department of Puzzle Research (if only my taxes could go to something that worthwhile) and plunge into the mystery haunting the remote mid-western town of Scoggins in Puzzle Agent, available now for PC and Mac. But almost as interesting as the game itself is the Pilot Program they’re using to bring it to us. Telltale is using this to introduce new game concepts to market, similar to the broadcast industry’s television pilots (but likely better).
