Free apps roundup for October 1st, 2010

Still can’t get enough free apps? I know the feeling. Just when you have all of your apps organized into folders and onto pages, it’s just too tempting to leave it be. Apple updates Remote.app to version 2.0

After months of neglect, Apple finally updated Remote.app today. The updates include a redesign to support the larger screen of the iPad and the Retina display on iPhone 4 and the most recent iPod touch, support for the new Apple TV, and a compatibility update for iTunes 10. It’s a must-have update for everyone running iOS.

Apple posts 1.1 update to iPhone Remote App

Today Apple updated their Remote app on the App Store to version 1.1. The update is free as is to be expected.
