Rumor: Apple to refresh Apple TV, add TV rentals for 99 cents

Rumors have been swirling around a potential Apple TV price drop to $99. In addition, we’ve also read Apple TV will stream content to users, instead of storing content locally. The last major rumor that’s been circulating is that it will, in the future, use a variation of the iOS software. But now, you can add this to that laundry list of rumors: TV show rentals for 99 cents a piece.

Fox to allow DVD ripping to iTunes
