Apple gains in web share
Apple has been gaining web share—both as a platform and with its Safari browser—at the expense of Windows, a new study reveals. From April 08 to April 09, use of OS X-based browser to surf the internet grew from 7.38% to 9.73%, Safari use (presumably both Mac and Window flavors) rose 6.31 to 8.21 percent, and the iPhone reached 0.55%, up from 0.15%. The iPod touch’s use grew to 0.15%, up from 0.03%.
