But of course, there are bits and pieces that were changed to make the game well-suited and unique for iOS. The game now fully supports Retina Display, achievements and leader boards, and features both the Japanese and U.S. version soundtracks.

iPhone Appidemic: Samurai Bloodshow
Samurai Bloodshow will show blood, Samurai. SEGA brings you Samurai warfare for the really small screen. Samurai Bloodshow is a combat strategy game set in feudal Japan. Arrange your defenses on the field of battle then show your mettle against the oncoming hordes. Well, it isn’t exactly hordes, really more like two or three at a time at the lower levels.

Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing for iOS review
I’m not into racing at all. Never really have been. But I don’t mind kart racers because they give you more to do. You get to throw stuff. There are explosions. The environments are fun. In short, they’re enjoyable, and Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing may be the most enjoyable kart racer available for the iPad and iPhone.
E3 2011: Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing for iPad (video)
Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing is exactly what you’d expect—a kart racer that utilizes characters and settings from the SEGA universe (the cartoony ones, of course). In my demo, kart control was handled with the accelerometer; tilting left and right to turn. A large yellow button is used to accelerate, while a smaller red button is used to brake/reverse.
iPhone Appidemic: Streets of Rage 2
Streets of Rage 2 harkens back to a dark, dark time (the 80s) when streets gangs wandered our streets (all our streets), flaunting their identical mohawks and brightly colored coats, spray painting our schools with words like “NINJA” and “MUTANTS RULE.” Since the police at that time were legally required to keep criminals on the street, the only solution was for a sufficient number of bad dudes (who were also good citizens) to take the streets back, one punch at a time.
Streets of Rage 2 now available on iOS
Here’s a little context for Streets of Rage 2. In the ’80s, you could not go wrong with the idea that our streets were about to be overwhelmed by gangs of Mohawked, drug-addled mutants who were just going to walk the streets (back and forth) waiting to make our kids into addicts and hassle our womenfolk. There were only two solutions to this problem which was going to happen any minute now: “Just say no” or beat them up.
