Bring iOS 4 Camera zoom functionality back to iOS 5 with ZoomIsBack!
iOS 5 brought with it a change in how users can zoom when taking a picture within the Camera app. In iOS 4, zooming was accomplished by double tapping the screen and bringing up the zoom bar, but iOS 5 instead implemented pinch to zoom. Some users have been unhappy with this change, and if that’s the case with you, you can bring back the older method of zooming (as long as your iDevice is jailbroken) with developer Itay’s ZoomIsBack! tweak in Cydia.
AndroidLoader to bring Android-style app launcher to iOS via Cydia
Surenix has created an application launcher for iOS that many people with Android devices will familiarize with. That’s because this project was inspired by the Android’s app menu and launcher, and is aiming to bring that same functionality over to iOS through Cydia. Once AndroidLoader is installed on an iDevice, a tap on the tab below the dock will bring up a list of all of your apps and icons, including things like iPod controls.
