Appletell reviews SlotZ Racer game for iPhone, iPod touch
Undoubtedly, many reviews you may find of SlotZ Racer will start with some kind of comment about the great memories the reviewer has of racing slot cars against friends when he was young. My review won’t. It’s not that I’m disparaging the nostalgia element, but with SlotZ Racers, it just seems that too much of the joy is in what it reminds you of playing as opposed to what you’re actually playing.
Freeverse offers 99 cent SlotZ Racer for iPhone, iPod touch for 3 days only
In what appears to be an attempt to remind me of all the toys I never got as a kid, Freeverse has announced the release of SlotZ Racer for the iPhone and iPod touch. Developed by Strange Flavour, “… SlotZ Racer puts the thrill of realistic 3D slot cars in the palm of your hand. Relive those great childhood memories of building tracks, burning rubber, and racing with your friends and family!” Yeah, unless your family never bought you the big track you wanted because they had to pay for your brother’s braces. Thanks a lot, Freeverse. Jerks.
Freeverse announces new games for iPhone, Macintosh
Freeverse has announced two new games today at Macworld Expo; one for the iPhone, and one for Macintosh. Yes, the Macintosh…not everyone has left it for good. For the iPHone, they’ve announced SlotZ Racer, “the ultimate slot car racing game for the iPhone and iPod touch.” On the Mac side, they’re bringing us Commander – Napoleon at War for Mac OS X.
