When the iPad came out, two of the criticisms were “I don’t know what it’s for” and “it’ll never be useful in the workplace.” But the iPad’s big screen and touch interface make it useful for any number of professions, and one where it’s proving popular is the medical profession. PDA’s have long been popular with healthcare providers (who need to have quick access to large amounts of data), and the iPad is no exception.

I’m not sure when all this fuss over an Apple netbook started…likely the moment the first PC netbook hit the market. I do this myself…see something cool or new in the PC aisle and start wondering when Apple will jump on that technology.
