HandyShell for iPad 2 review
The HandyShell for iPad 2 caters to those with a specific need. Some of you need to hang up your iPad, I suppose. Some want protection that can also serve as a stand. Some want a better grip. If that’s you, the HandyShell provides. If it’s not, this is just a pretty ugly case. Don’t get me wrong, though. The HandyShell is very well designed and very sturdy, just as you’d expect from Speck.
Speck’s TimeToRock for iPod review
What time is it? Normally, I’d say Tool Time, but if you have an iPod nano on your wrist, apparently it’s TimeToRock! At least, that’s what Speck is suggesting with their wrist watch style case for iPod nano. They certainly aren’t the first company to make this style of case for iPod nano, and they won’t be the last. So, does their TimeToRock case have what it takes to hold your hand and never let go?
Appletell roundup review: Speck iPad protection
Whether you’re looking to protect the back, the front or whole thing, Speck has at least one iPad case for you. In this roundup we’ll take a look at Speck’s iPad offerings including two cases (the Candy Shell and iPad Fitted), one screen protector (ShieldView) and one carrying sleeve (PixelSleeve Plus). They have plenty more options, of course, but we have to start somewhere.
Appletell reviews the CorePack Fly and AftPack laptop bags from Speck
Remember the good old days before the iPod and the iPhone, when you couldn’t rely on your iDevice case to convey your personality? Back then, you had just one thing to carry around—your computer—and that alone let passersby know every tiny detail about who you are. Well, some of us still carry around laptop computers, and Speck wants to make sure you’re making a statement with their CorePack Fly Messenger Bag and AftPack Notebook Backback.
Speck to introduce new notebook backpacks, bags and sleeves at Macworld
Speck Products, developers of cases for numerous consumer electronics devices (including the iPod, iPhone and Apple laptops, of course), will introduce a new line of laptop cases at both Macworld Expo and CES in the coming week. The four new packs will launch in two distinct colors—Speakeasy Black Pinstripe with robin’s egg blue interior and Coffeehouse Brown Plaid with desert tan interior—and are “… aptly named for their unique form, function and styling.”
Appletell Review: Speck PixelSkin case for the iPhone 3G
With the iPhone 3G recently released, we are seeing an onslaught of cases coming to market. The decision for a case will be easy for some, as it seems a lot of manufacturers are making the same—if not similar—models as their original iPhone counterparts. But, what are you to do if this is your first iPhone, or if you are looking for something new? With so many from which to choose, this can be difficult.
Speck has quickly introduced a few case models that fit the new iPhone, one of which is the PixelSkin. Check out the review after the break.
