WWDC 2011 keynote live blog

I’m going to be honest with you, it’s hard for me to get a grasp on this year’s keynote. The rumors do not speak of stunning new hardware and major advances, they speak of OS upgrades and…clouds. And in a way, that makes it all the more intriguing. As such, we’ll be at this very spot come 10:00 a.m. PDT (1:00 p.m. EDT) for live coverage of the event.

WWDC 2010: Keynote presentation video now available online

Not a minute too soon, Apple has released the full video feature of this years WWDC Conference opening keynote from Steve Jobs. The video is available to watch from Apple’s website, and it can also be downloaded as a podcast from the iTunes Store. Despite the focus being entirely on the mobile world, with iPhone 4 being the only big announcement, this was still an incredible keynote to watch.

Be sure to join us at 1:00 p.m. ET (10:00 a.m. PT) for live coverage of Steve Jobs’ 2010 WWDC Keynote presentation. The lead up to this one has been a bit more eventful than most, what with all of these iPhone HD images coming out of Vietnam and that entire Gizmodo iPhone brouhaha. WWDC 2010 rumor roundup

We’re less than 24 hours away from Steve Jobs’ keynote at WWDC 2010. Rumors regarding products and features have been circulating for months now, so we thought we’d help you all catch up on what to expect (or at least hope) to see come out of San Francisco tomorrow. As expected, the majority of rumors surround the iPhone HD, but Apple TV has had some fun discussion as well.

It’s official; Steve Jobs keynote to open WWDC

Monday, June 7th, at the same time as always (10am Pacific time), Apple’s Steve Jobs will kickoff WWDC with a keynote address. With 5,000 developers registered for the event, this speech is bound to bring some pretty exciting news about Apple and potential future products. With the recent Google Android announcements at their I/O conference, it has got to be something big.

iPad Keynote condensed to 3 minutes; full of great, awesome, and beautiful

Although Apple has posted the video of Steve Jobs’ media presentation last week, it may be a little lengthy for most of us. This is especially true considering most of the content in that video is a surplus of demos. But if you do still want to see a little bit of what you missed, Neil Curtis has edited together just what you need. Past the break is his under-three-minute clip of the presentation. And yes, it’s meant to be humorous.

Apple heading into some rough times? Recent conference news round-up

It seems as if there has been a lot of news lately about Apple. Usually, this is a good thing. However, recently it seems as if most of this news is negative in one way or another. With health concerns, keynote absences, and cancellations, this can’t be good for Apple’s PR, especially during the holiday season. Although some of these items are bigger news than others, they are all important to the company.

The Last Macworld Expo

Let’s make no mistake: No Stevenote and no Apple means that this is the last Macworld Expo. Ever.

Because while the Mac market share may be growing, the reason that people go to Macworld is to be a part of the group that heard Steve announce the next Insanely Great Product, to get their hands on them first (even if they couldn’t buy them for month), and—until Apple’s recent runaway success with the iPod—to take part in the group hallucination that was the Cult of Mac.

We might have known when…
