What’s the first name that comes to mind when you think of GPS navigation? Likely TomTom, after all, they are known for GPS devices. But what about iPhone apps? Let’s take a look at how TomTom’s iPhone navigation app compares to the other big names in navigation on the App Store.

TomTom appeared on stage at this years WWDC showcasing their GPS application and in-car accessories, stating that the app would be available in the near future. Not a minute too soon, TomTom for iPhone has appeared in the App Store in various versions, so far including New Zealand ($94.99), US & Canada ($99.99), Australia ($79.99) and Western Europe ($139.99).
