TomTom cradle to enable GPS for iPod touch and other apps
According to Yann Lafargue, PR for TomTom, the much anticipated TomTom iPhone cradle will do more than just keep your iPhone’s battery topped off. Its GPS enhancing abilities seem to take advantage of the dock connector on not just the iPhone, but also the iPod touch to enhance (or to add support for) GPS.

TomTom appeared on stage at this years WWDC showcasing their GPS application and in-car accessories, stating that the app would be available in the near future. Not a minute too soon, TomTom for iPhone has appeared in the App Store in various versions, so far including New Zealand ($94.99), US & Canada ($99.99), Australia ($79.99) and Western Europe ($139.99).
