A new tweak called SemiTether will allow tethered jailbreakers to reboot their iDevice and use most of their stock apps without having to boot tethered. However, this tweak isn’t without its flaws, and users still won’t be able to use any of their jailbreak apps/tweaks, Safari or Mail until they’ve booted tethered again. Rebooting with this tweak installed will also take longer than usual, although I’d say that’s a pretty small price to pay to be able to use your iDevice in the case of an emergency when there is no computer around.
