Will Viddy do for videos what Instagram did for photos? Get the best local deals with Groupon HD, tweet about it with the new and improved version of TweetDeck, and while your at it, take a picture using more than one iOS device with Remote Shutter. Oh yeah, then there are the games I found. I’ll be honest, it’s a good week for free apps, which means it’s a good week for the list.
Hands on: Twitter apps for iPad
Though I have no proof, one would assume that social media use must over-index with iPad owners. With additional screen space, being able to literally touch the social graph, and the ability to hop between programs, the iPad is the home portal for sites like Twitter, Facebook, and others. Here are my thoughts on three iPad optimized Twitter apps: Twittelator, Twitterific and TweetDeck.

A huge week on the App Store, it was. This week’s list is full of stuff you should be paying for, like a full featured Twitter client, SIRIUS XM’s streaming radio, and two games that used to not be free. Consider this your lucky week.
Appletell previews Tweetdeck (public beta)
Think of it like this; in terms of options, management, and scope, every other Twitter client is iPhoto. Tweetdeck is Photoshop. A free application that runs on the Adobe AIR platform, Tweetdeck, a Twitter desktop client, is a monster of a program. I don’t mean that it’s difficult to learn, but the sheer scope of its features and ability to sort through the massive amount of Twitter posts make it the most complex tool I’ve yet seen.
