Apple announces new iPod shuffle
On stage at this year’s Apple September media event, Steve Jobs unveiled a welcome update to the smallest iPod in the range: the iPod shuffle. The latest update brings back the buttons—it’s as simple as that. Its form factor is very similar to the second generation, but it’s now pretty much a square device. You’ll be able to pick up a new iPod shuffle for $49, and if you’re buying from the Apple Store online, it’ll begin to ship in a week.
