iPhone Appidemic: Home Sheep Home
I’ll admit I thought Shaun the Sheep was quite cute when I first saw him Wallace and Gromit: A Close Shave, but I wouldn’t have guessed he’d go on to get his show, let alone iPhone app. But here we are with Home Sheep Home, courtesy of Virtual Programming, Ltd. And although the game is just your basic physics puzzler, it manages to retain the gentle, comical charm that made Shaun so popular to begin with.
Appletell reviews Wallace & Gromit: The Last Resort for iPad
The absolute best compliment I can pay this game is that it’s Wallace & Gromit. It looks like them, it sounds like them, and it feels like them. Everything about this game is so accurate that you’d almost think you’re watching an animated short, and that’s wonderful. Unfortunately, a couple items do prevent it from being a perfect adventure gaming experience for the iPad.
Wallace & Gromit on iPad holiday
Back at Macworld Expo 2010, Telltale Games allowed visitors to vote for which gaming franchise would follow their release of Tales of Monkey Island. Sadly, and despite my vote, Wallace & Gromit didn’t win. Their episodic adventure is still not available on the Mac, but the first episode—The Last Resort—has now been released for the iPad.
