As implied by the name, Weather HD is a weather forecasting application. However, instead of providing maps and charts and graphs, Weather HD takes a more elegant approach. With the important data along the bottom of the screen, Weather HD will use a large, great looking graphic on the screen to represent what the weather may look like at any point in time given the conditions.

As the name implies, this application is used to get complete coverage of the weather in your local area. It is a tab bar application full of various ways of getting the weather information. It works by using the iPhone’s GPS to find your location and then offering you the weather for that area. However, there is also the ability to look up any area, as you could’ve guessed.
