XtremeMac brings flexibility to the iPhone, iPad speaker dock

XtremeMac Tango TT

At CES in Las Vegas this week, XtremeMac announced quite a few new products for 2012. We’re going to some time here to focus on the Tango TT, an app-enhanced, high quality audio and charging dock for iPod, iPhone and iPad. We’re doing this because it contains a feature we’ve always felt more iDevice speaker docks should contain: the ability to orient the device in landscape or portrait mode.

iPhone 4S case announcements, round 2

As we mentioned in yesterday’s iPhone 4S case roundup, your old iPhone 4 cases are going to work just fine on Apple’s latest model. But that’s not stopping developers from rolling out new models in honor of the occasion, or just reminding us of what’s already there. And today, we’ve got announcements from Marware, XtremeMac, The Callet, Belkin and GelaSkins.

XtremeMac Tuffwrap Shine for iPad 2 review

The Tuffwrap is a skin-type cover that snaps over the back and sides of the iPad; its high friction rubber provides protection for key switches and a better gripping surface than the iPad’s smooth aluminum back. Vital ports are still open for business, including the dock connector, headphone jack, microphone, and camera. In addition to the enhanced grip the Tuffwrap provides moderately louder sound due to passive amplification from the cutout surrounding the speaker.

XtremeMac Thin Sleeve for iPad and iPad 2 review

Xtreme Mac’s Thin Sleeve provides all-around protection in a sleek and well-designed package with just the right blend of features for a great price. In addition to providing a high-quality pleather material with solid construction, the Thin Sleeve’s microsuede interior actually stands a chance of removing fingerprints due to the sliding motion used to insert/remove the iPad.

My favorite time of day, nearly every day, is that moment when I first lie down to go to bed=. My least favorite time of day, nearly every day, is when the alarm clock goes off. If it’s the same with you, we’d like to bring some joy to your mornings by giving one lucky winner a Luna SST dual alarm clock speaker dock from XtremeMac, valued at $129.99. Hurry, though. The contest ends Sunday night.

XtremeMac InCharge Home dual USB wall charger review

Increasingly, we’ve got a lot of devices to charge, right? In my house, we’ve got two iPhones and an iPad, let alone all the other non-USB playthings. I know of other families with a lot more. To keep them all working, you either need a lot of chargers or you need one device that can handle multiple products. The XtremeMac InCharge Home aims to be that device. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fully succeed.

XtremeMac 3 in 1 Microdock for iPhone, iPod review

Amongst all the accessories available for my iPhone 4, these alarm clock docks are swiftly becoming my favorites. They charge your phone, they play your music, they manage multiple wake times, and more. In the case of XtremeMac’s 3 in 1 Microdock, you get the added benefit of portability. No more messing around with those archaic hotel nightstand alarm clocks that you aren’t even sure are going to work.

XtremeMac unveils InCharge Home, Travel

XtremeMac has recently become one of my favorite Mac and iPod accessory manufacturers. Their products are designed as if Apple made them, and are somewhat cheaper than the competition of Mac/iPod accessories. They have just come out with a brand new charging unit for the iPhone and iPod. It’s called the InCharge, and is available more »

XtremeMac introduces 3 new iPhone cases

In the weeks leading up to the iPhone’s launch, some companies jumped the gun and began to manufacture cases for it. These cases were basically fabricated blindly, as companies only had the specifications and pictures to base the case on. Now that the iPhone has been released, and manufacturers have had a chance to test more »
