Zork. Let’s all take a moment and think about that, shall we? Arguably the first great computer game, Zork was a text adventure (that’s right, kids, no graphics!) where the player wandered around solving arbitrary puzzles, collecting treasures, and dying many, many times. It spawned many a sequel, much nostalgia, and like a horror movie killer, seems to pop back up every time you’re sure it’s dead. Like now.

Some of the old favorite text based games are now coming to the iPhone. A new free application called Frotz Z-Machine Interpreter 0.1 will allow you to run games that were based in the Z-Machine platform on your iPhone.
