Both of the leaders in the GPS markets announced new products Thursday, both aimed at getting you home just a little easier.

Garmin International announced a new version of the portable navigator which, according to the Kansas City Star, “marks” the location of the user’s car, in order to help find the car in the parking lot. The product also includes a button to give drivers exact latitude and longitude coordinates. The Nuvi will be released in three separate versions, retailing for $600, $800, and $1,000.

Meanwhile, competitor TomTom introduced its new RDS-TMC Traffic Receiver, an accessory that, the company says, “decodes traffic information via FM radio channels.” It is meant to complement TomTom’s existing traffic services.

The RDS-TMC Traffic Receiver is available for $129.95 on TomTom’s Web site, as well as through partnered retailers.
