On Friday, several U.S. wireless carriers announced pricing and availability for the latest in the Motorla RAZR line. The RAZR2 V9, V9m and V8 will be available from Alltell, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile USA, US Cellular and Verizon Wireless in the next few weeks with specific dates varying by carrier. Verizon will offer the V9m in September for $299.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.
Sprint will offer the same handset online and by phone on August 22 and in stores by September 4 for $249 with no required rebate.
AT&T will offer the V9 in early September for $299.99.
Each of these three pricing plans requires a two-year contract.
