HP on Tuesday is expected to unveil a new, thin notebook computer, the Voodoo Envy 133, which looks to compete with Apple’s MacBook Air, the Wall Street Journal reported. HP, the world’s #1 PC vendor, will announce the new product, among others, at an event in Berlin.
The computer, a half-inch thick, boasts a removable battery, as well as the ability to boot completely in less than five seconds. It is being released under the Voodoo brand, which HP acquired with its 2006 purchase of the company VoodooPC.
The company, according to Reuters, is also rolling out a new touchscreen PC, called The TouchSmart All-in-One, which will launch in July at an MSRP of $1,299.
