The CrunchPad tablet device, a product developed by noted tech blogger Michael Arrington of TechCrunch, has been canceled prior to its release, Arrington announced on the site Monday.

The CrunchPad, first announced in mid-2008, was to be a 12-inch tablet used primarily for Web-surfing.
