Apple on Tuesday announced the debut of several new computers, including a new $2,499 Mac Pro and several new iMac Pro and Mac Mini models.
The new line includes a new 24-inch iMac for $1,499, with the memory and storage of the previous version. Also new from Apple are two other new 24-inch iMacs as well as a new 20-inch model.
The new Mac Pro, featuring Intel "Nehalem" Xeon processors, is touted by the company as "a faster, more powerful system that our professional customers are going to love."
Apple COO Tim Cook, who is running the company during CEO Steve Jobs’ medical leave, called the new Mac Mini "not only our most affordable Mac, it’s also the world’s most energy efficient desktop computer."
