With all the talk about Apple unveiling a tablet device later this month, it turns out two of its major rivals are timing up on a tablet of their own.
According to the New York Times' Bits blog, a slate computer jointly developed by Microsoft and HP will be unveiled Wednesday in the CES keynote by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. Sources told the Times that the device will arrive mid-year.
