Best Buy Gets Exclusive on Samsung Notebooks

Samsung announced Friday that a new series of notebooks, the R80 series, will be available exclusively at Best Buy, starting March 7.
The computers feature HD LED displays, a HDMI output, and run Windows 7.
“Best Buy continues to be an important retail partner for Samsung, and we’re excited to offer a range of notebook and netbook options to our customers that deliver exceptional craftsmanship and performance,” Todd Bouman, director of product marketing at Samsung Electronics Information Technology Division, said as part of the announcement.
“True to Samsung’s unique, customer-focused design aesthetic, these mobile PCs are flexible enough to be used as mobile devices or desktop replacements for all-day use.”
The computers are available in denominations costing $729.99, $829.99 and $929.99, as well a netbook costing $379.
