Beyonce Backs Vizio

The Vizio TV brand, already endorsed by several top sports stars, picked up a major endorsement from the world of entertainment- pop superstar Beyonce Knowles.

The singer has agreed to endorse Vizio for three years, and will also grant Beyonce the right to “participate in the design and performance characteristics of new products from VIZIO's ever-expanding line of audio, visual and web-enabled products.”

“Beyoncé is in an elite class of entertainers who are globally known and respected for their talent on stage and in front of the camera,” Laynie Newsome, Co-Founder and VP Sales & Marketing Communications for Vizio, said in a statement. “We believe both VIZIO and Beyoncé are closely aligned as American success stories who have redefined the rules in our respective industries.”

Beyonce endorsed a limited-edition Samsung mobile phone, known as the “BPhone,” in 2007.
