JL Audio will be the exclusive audio gear supplier for the new TV show “Unique Autosports: Miami,” which will air later this month.
The eight-episode show will debut Feb. 28 on Spike TV, and will feature customization of vehicles owned by various celebrities in the sports and music worlds. Guests will include basketball's LeBron James, Jermaine O'Neal and Amare Stoudemire, football's Maurice Jones-Drew, baseball's' C.C. Sabathia, AJ Burnett and Nick Swisher, NASCAR's Tony Stewart, and music performers Sean “Diddy” Combs and Fat Joe.
JL's vice president of sales, Carl Kennedy, has been working with producer Will Castro on the series.
“Will has built a great clientele, a top- notch crew and a beautiful facility. We expect the new series to be a hit, and to show what great car audio is all about,” Kennedy said as part of the announcement.
