Best Buy announced Tuesday that it will soon begin selling the iPad in all U.S. stores later this month. The retail giant had previously only sold the device at the 673 domestic locations with Apple Shops.
The iPad will arrive, in all 3G and Wi-Fi editions, Sept. 26, along with numerous iPad accessories.
“Technology is becoming more and more personal, and our customers say they really value visiting a Best Buy store to touch and try the iPad for themselves,” Wendy Fritz, senior vice president of computing at Best Buy, said as part of the announcement.
“We’re delighted that we’ll soon make that opportunity available to everyone who’d like to come see us, and experience this device in any Best Buy store nationwide.”
