ViewSonic announced Wednesday that all of its PC display products will feature LED technology, as of early next year. The move was made as part of the company's commitment to green computing.
The move follows the company's introduction earlier this year of a 22″ LED monitor.
“Consumers are rapidly transitioning to LED display products because they allow for lower energy costs while delivering brilliant picture quality,” Jeff Volpe, vice president and general manager, said as part of the announcement. “ViewSonic is leading the way towards a greener, more cost efficient future by delivering an array of green LED products for our customers to choose from.”
