Microsoft is working on bringing video games to its upcoming Windows Phone 7 line, using a dedicated group inside of Microsoft Game Studios to get the program in motion, the AP reported.
The company will also help outside publishers develop games for the platform. The phones will also be compatible with Xbox Live.
Several popular games, including “Crackdown 2: Project Sunburst,” “Halo Waypoint,” and “Guitar Hero 5,”will be available when the first Windows Phone 7 phones arrive this holiday season.
