Apple Tuesday announced a new product line that includes four new Mac Pro desktop computers, which range in size from 21.5' to 27″, and in price from $2,499 to $4,999.

All of the Mc Pro computers arrive in August. The quad-core starts at $2,499, the 8-core at $3,499 and 12-core at $4,999.

The company also announced new iMacs, with a 21.5″ model selling for $1,199 and the 27″ inch model starting at $1,699.

“The new Mac Pro is the most powerful and configurable Mac we've ever made,” Phil Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, said as part of the announcement. “With up to 12 cores, the new Mac Pro outperforms our previous top-of-the-line system by up to 50 percent, and with over a billion possible configurations, our customers can create exactly the system they want.”

All of the new Macs come with the Magic Mouse; also available for the first time is the Magic Trackpad, which brings the Multi-Touch capability to desktop computers for the first time.

Apple also announced a 27-inch LED Cinema Display, which will arrive in September at an MSRP of $999.
