Microsoft Announces Xbox, Kinect Pricing, Bundle

Microsoft's gaming division said Tuesday that the new 4GB Xbox 360 will be available in a bundle with the new Kinect gaming device and the “Kinect Adventures” game for $299.99.
The company also released pricing for the individual items. The 4GB 360 will retail for $199.99 beginning August 3, while the Kinect will go for $299.99, along with the “Kinect Adventures” game. The Kinect is expected to arrive in the fall, but no release date has been announced.
“Kinect for Xbox 360 offers tremendous entertainment value for the whole family,” Dennis Durkin, Xbox 360 chief operating officer, said as part of the announcement. “With full body, voice and the ability to play games with your friends right out of the box, Kinect is the most unique, complete and affordable way for everyone to enjoy controller-free fun and entertainment.”
