This week saw another first for sports in 3D, as the Major League Baseball All-Star Game was broadcast in 3D for the first time, on n3D, Panasonic and DirecTV's new 3D channel.
To mark the occasion, Panasonic hosted a viewing event in New York for the game, hosted by New York Mets pitcher-turned-broadcaster Ron Darling.
In the game, shown on Fox in two dimensions, the National League won in order to secure home-field advantage in the World Series for the first time in more than a decade.
