Best Buy Friday became the latest seller of the iPhone 4 to stop pre-orders, as high demand continued for the device, the company said on an in-house frequently-asked-questions forum.
“We have stopped all pre-orders due to the demand and inventory concerns,” a Best Buy corporate employee named “Jacob” wrote on the board Friday. He added that all existing pre-orders will remain valid.
AT&T had stopped pre-orders earlier in the week, while Apple has delayed the delivery date for the new iPhones. The iPhone 4 is set to become available June 24.
