Walmart Thursday announced the launch of Gamecenter, an online site for previews, exclusives and special deals on video games.
“Walmart Gamecenter combines incredible savings with exclusive gaming content all in a compelling and interactive experience online,” Kelly Thompson, vice president of merchandising for Walmart.com, said as part of the announcement. “Gaming enthusiasts will be drawn in by the exclusive content and developer interviews, while moms will appreciate the special savings only Walmart can offer on the hottest video game titles.”
As part of the launch, Walmart will offer a $50 eGift card to those who preorder three or more games.
