As part of a promised plan to expand its 4G coverage throughout 2010 to major metropolitan areas across the US, Sprint Tuesday announced the expansion of 4G to several more markets.
Cincinatti, Cleveland, Los Angeles, Miami, Pittsburgh, Salt Lake City, and St. Louis now join the list of cities for which Sprint will provide the extra-fast 4G coverage.
The cities already on that list for 2010 coverage, announced earlier this year, are Boston, Denver, Kansas City, Houston, Minneapolis, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.
Sprint is the majority shareholder of the Clearwire venture (WiMAX).
